The October 15 beta notes pair class tuning with new gamepad options, quest fixes and adjustments to items—including changes to Wizard Oil and wand damage.
The October 15 beta update increases dungeon creature XP and restores individual-level party XP calculations, alongside class, item, profession, and interface changes.
The update touches nearly every class, but its practical highlights include a cheaper temporary respec, revised talent progression, expanded gamepad controls and several item changes.
Riverglades brings competing factions, a Twilight’s Hammer stronghold and the Bloodmaster’s Ring. Mount Hyjal opens for players to help the Druids of the Talon and enter Barrow Deeps.
Dungeon kills now award approximately 20% more experience, while lower-level party members are no longer penalized simply because someone else in the group is higher level. The update also tunes Rage, adjusts select class abilities, and resets vendor prices for several items.
The visual update addresses feedback that HD Skyborne stood out beside SD characters and environments. Blizzard says SD Skyborne characters and Druid forms are in development for early 2027.
