Behind the briefing
Clear summaries, permanent articles, and the original sources to explore further.
Sources and updates
Enabled sources: Blizzard Forums (US), Blizzard Forums (EU), Blizzard News, Icy Veins, Wowhead, Warcraft Tavern, Reddit /r/wowforever, X, YouTube captions.
The planned briefing schedule is every 6 hours in UTC. That schedule is not a promise of current data: each published briefing shows its input cutoff, coverage, and freshness. Only verified WoW Forever content is eligible for collection.

AI summaries and original reporting
The writing pipeline uses AI to draft concise articles from selected source evidence. Each published article should distinguish sourced facts, community opinions, and open questions, with citations leading back to the originals. Summaries are an entry point into a conversation; they cannot represent every participant or replace the source.
Published articles retain their own links when the homepage changes. Corrections update the article rather than silently replacing its identity. Visit the archive to find earlier coverage.
How discussion attention is counted
Rankings count distinct discussion groups with qualifying activity inside a UTC window. The start is included and the end is excluded. A post and its replies form one thread; replies and repeat fetches do not each become another discussion. An edit alone does not create new activity. News articles inform the briefing but do not enter these rankings.
Explicit crosspost ancestry groups linked threads from the same source into one discussion. We also show the number of source threads, so a crosspost can increase that number without increasing discussion groups. Similar wording alone does not merge threads, and discussions on different platforms are counted separately.
A discussion mentioning several classes or professions contributes once to each mentioned entity. A class share divides its count by the distinct sampled groups mentioning at least one class; profession shares use groups mentioning at least one profession. Shares can add up to more than 100%. They do not measure player population, approval, or performance. Bars compare counts with the highest count in their own list.
Changes compare with the preceding equal-length period. We require matching sources, complete collection, the same sampling policy, continuous history, and at least 10 combined groups before showing a percentage. Missing sources, capped collection, changed sampling, insufficient history, or a small sample suppress the percentage and display a reason.
With a comparable zero baseline and enough new activity, we show New. Verified zero activity in both periods shows No activity. Missing measurements stay Unavailable; they never become zero. Source filters show stored group and thread counts, but omit source-specific change percentages and shares because those baselines and denominators are not published.
Coverage describes the sources and collection limits for this sample. Even complete collection is a sample of selected communities, not a census of Azeroth. A partially collected sample can undercount discussions, and the last published sample can remain visible while an update is delayed. Check its cutoff and freshness before comparing it with current conversations.
Finding articles by topic
Topic feeds group published articles by subjects named in their titles and summaries. An article can appear in several feeds while keeping its original section and URL. News & updates also includes articles labeled as news; the article's evidence and attribution distinguish official information from third-party reporting.
These feeds include retained articles beyond the current homepage briefing. They organize coverage and do not measure popularity or gameplay strength.
Corrections and removal requests
Please include the article URL, the specific claim or source at issue, and any evidence that helps us review it. A public corrections contact has not been configured yet.
Privacy and project support
Reading needs no account. The support prompt keeps a bounded record of completed page visits in session storage and a shown flag in local browser storage, with memory fallback when storage is unavailable. This feature sends no browsing history to our server and adds no analytics. Hosting, externally loaded artwork, and services you visit through links may process ordinary web requests under their own policies.
