WoW Forever Reveals Riverglades and Mount Hyjal

The new leveling zone connects to Redridge Mountains, with a new path giving Alliance players easy access. It sets the Brotherhood of the Horse against the Horde-allied Boulderrock Ogre Clan, while both factions face the Twilight’s Hammer in Krol’dok Stronghold, an outdoor dungeon.[1]

The zone’s other activities include disrupting a pirate operation, rescuing a horse and meeting Jom Jom, an ogre. The Brotherhood’s backstory traces to knights who pursued the fleeing Horde; the Boulderrock clan broke away from the Twilight’s Hammer after the Second War.[1]

Riverglades also features the Bloodmaster’s Ring, where players are expected to test themselves against ogre champions. One report describes it as a likely new take on the popular Ring of Blood-style challenge; the zone details do not yet establish its rewards or how lucrative it will be.[1][2]

Mount Hyjal’s gates have been closed for five years in the story, and the zone now becomes accessible after the Battle for Mount Hyjal. Players will help the Druids of the Talon heal the land, then can venture into Barrow Deeps, a new 10-player raid set in the place where Illidan was held.[1]
