WoW Forever Beta Ends With 24 Hours of Chaos
The beta’s final-day celebration brings shenanigans to seven zones, with a one-time event that may not return after launch.
WoW Forever NewsA final-day sendoff
The WoW Forever Beta’s closing celebration is underway for 24 hours, ending Friday, October 23 at 19:00 CEST. Players are invited to visit Zephras Isle, Dun Morogh, Elwynn Forest, Teldrassil, Durotar, Tirisfal Glades or Mulgore for the festivities.[2]
A report on the event describes mobs of every level dropping Molten Core loot and powerful elixirs, alongside appearances by world bosses including Lord Kazzak, Azuregos and Patchwerk. It also says the loot is Bind on Equip, so players can trade to fill out sets.[1]
Not a launch preview
Blizzard cautions that the one-time upheaval almost certainly includes items and experiences that won’t be part of WoW Forever after its November 4 launch. Treat the extreme loot and boss encounters as a beta farewell, not a guide to what normal play will look like.[2]
